Board Elections

The Bandera ISD Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected by the public to serve overlapping three-year terms.  Elections are held annually in November.  Although candidates run for specific places, they do not represent specific geographical areas.  Rather, each represents Bandera ISD at-large.  Following the annual election, the Board elects officers (president, vice president, secretary and assistant secretary) to serve one-year terms.
Bandera ISD Trustee Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.  Open Places up for election are Place 5, Place 6, and Place 7.
Candidate filing period to file application for place on the ballot is:
  • July 22, 2019 to August 2, 2019; Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.  Closed on Friday.
  • August 5, 2019 to August 16, 2019; Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
  • August 19, 2019; Monday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
