BISD will not fail or refuse to hire or discharge any individual, or otherwise discriminate against any individual with respect to compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment on the basis of any of the following protected characteristics:
- Race, color, or national origin;
- Age (applies to individuals who are 40 years of age or older);
- Disability; or
- Genetic information [see DAB].
