TIA ELIGIBILITY

AM I ELIGIBLE? 
 
To be eligible for TIA through Bandera ISD, teachers must meet state and district requirements. 
 
Eligible teachers must be in a student-facing teaching role, coded 087 in PEIMS, and must teach in an eligible assignment in a TIA-eligible Bandera ISD Campus.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
 
Earning a TIA designation is a two year process. The first year is the data capture year, and the second year is the data submission year. 
 
 
EMPLOYMENT:
 
Teachers must remain employed with Bandera ISD as a teacher during both yeas to earn a TIA designation.

Eligible teaching assignments must include direct academic teaching interaction, including in-class, pull-out content specialist, or interventionist roles.
