Bandera ISD is proud to announce Mr. Robert LaLanne as the new Bandera High School Principal for the 2026–2027 school year.
Mr. LaLanne is a true Bandera ISD success story. From his days as a Bulldog student to serving as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, middle school principal, and now P-TECH Academic Dean at BHS, his journey reflects a deep commitment to this district and its students. Bobby is known for putting kids first and building strong, lasting relationships across the campus and community.
Superintendent Gary Bitzkie shared that Bobby’s connection to Bandera ISD, combined with his leadership experience and student centered approach, makes him the right person to lead Bandera High School into its next chapter. He emphasized confidence in Bobby’s ability to build on the campus’s momentum and continue creating meaningful opportunities for students.
Mr. LaLanne will take over for Dr. Patrick Sizemore, who has been appointed as Director of Curriculum and Instructional Technology.
