We are proud to announce that Mr. Dustin Baumann has been chosen as the new Bandera High School Assistant Principal for the 2023-24 school year!
Mr. Baumann received his Bachelors Degree in 2007 from Tarleton State University, and his Masters degree in Educational Administration in 2016 from Lamar University . Dustin has sixteen years of educational experience, fourteen as a teacher & coach, and two years as an Assistant Principal.
As a previous Bandera Bulldog, Dustin specifically appreciates BISD's sense of community and the level of pride that is instilled in our students and staff. He has missed being a Bulldog, and is very happy to be back in Bandera! Superintendent Bitzkie states that he is pleased to see Dustin back in the district, and he is certain he will quickly "gel" with the BHS staff, and become a trusted member of the BHS Admin. Team.
Dustin will be replacing Mrs. Gina Austin who has moved on to other educational endeavors.
