For Public Awareness from TXDOT:
Beginning, Friday, October 20, 2023, traffic on SH 16 between 15th Street and Pops Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction while the contractor performs drainage structure work. All lanes will be reopened by Monday, October 23, 2023. The traveling public should use caution when traveling through the work zone. Avoid distractions, remain vigilant and obey early warning signs. Use an alternate route to avoid delays.
