Campus administrative staff investigate reported concerns, tips, or threats to the safety of our schools, and we work in close conjunction with local law enforcement agencies to take quick and appropriate action when necessary. We ask all of our families and students to please share any information regarding school or student safety by either directly contacting the school campus, the BISD Crisis Tipline, or by using the iWatchTexas anonymous alert system.

Bandera ISD follows the guidance of the Texas Schools Safety Center (TxSSC) located at Texas State University. The TxSSC serves as a clearinghouse for the dissemination of safety and security information through research, training, technical assistance for K-12 schools and junior colleges throughout the state of Texas.

For more information on the TxSSC, please click HERE.

Bandera ISD will continue to learn, and evaluate the safety and security of our schools. As we continue to strengthen our practices, we ask our community to understand changes or additions to current practices may be necessary to ensure our students and staff are provided the safe and secure learning environments they deserve.
