SCHOOL BUSES EQUIPPED WITH SEATBELTS

With the safety of our students as our number one priority, all newly purchased school buses are equipped with seatbelts. Our drivers instruct each passenger on the proper use of the seatbelt, including how to get it in and out routinely in the event of an evacuation.

Usage Policy: All persons riding a Bandera ISD school bus that is equipped with seat belts for all passengers will/must be wearing a seat belt when the bus is in motion.

Discipline: The driver will also inform each passenger that it is the passenger's responsibility to use the seat belt in a proper manner according to state law and district policy. Failure to properly use a seat belt could result in disciplinary action.
