National School Lunch Program

Bandera ISD participates in the National School Lunch Program and offers free and reduced priced meals based on a student's financial need.  Applications may be submitted online or picked up at any Bandera ISD school office; the School Nutrition office located at 1576 Highway 173 South.
Meal App Now.  Only one application per household is required.  The computerized systems at the schools ensure student confidentiality in that they will not be identified as participating in the free or reduced price program.  All students pay for meals or access their meal accounts in the same manner, using their student ID numbers.  Call 830-460-3896 X 2502 for more information.

 Bandera ISD Charge Policy:

There is a maximum of $25.00 charges for meals.  Notices will be sent home at the time of the first charge.  After the fifth day of charging, if unpaid, the student will receive a sandwich, fresh fruit, and 1/2 pint of milk.  Students will not be allowed to buy A la Carte items until the charges are paid.   The last four weeks of school, no charges will be allowed.  If a student is unable to pay for a meal, they will receive an alternate meal.
