Bandera ISD in the Fall of 2010


BISD's Official Welcome at Bandera Middle School Principal Joy Ryan welcomes the Polish visitors. Goody bags were prepared for our guests.
A book on the history of the Rosmierz area. A letter  of greeting from the Middle School Principal, Krystyna Madei, in Czeslaw Niemen Middle School #2 in Strezelce Opolskie is read. Polish students learn and play in a speech/drama class at Bandera Middle School.
It's the name game! Mrs. Tucker's speech/drama class makes the Polish students welcome. Everybody snaps.
Polish students have lunch in Bandera Middle School's lunchroom. They look like they fit in just fine! Lunch is the same everywhere.
BMS student, Ty Neff, welcomes a Polish student. Alkek Elementary's Choir sings for our Polish visitors. Mrs. Rodis directs the choir.
The elementary's lunchroom is filled with parents and visitors. The students perform for our guests from Poland. The performance is short, but good.

Mrs. K. Kozolup presents Dr. Dyes with a book about Rosmierz in Poland translated by Mrs. Kozolup and her students. Dr. Dyes is an avid reader. There's more!
Dr. Dyes is presented a book of information about Czeslaw Niemen Middle School #2 in Strzelce Opolskie. Many students participated in the creation of this book. Mrs. Katarzyna Kozolup reads some passages from the book about the middle school.
Dr. Dyes and Mrs. Katarzyna Kozolup Many mementoes are given. Dr. Dyes is presented a medal from the 10 year anniversary of Public School #2 Czeslawa Niemena.
