The Bandera High
School Cheerleaders raised money for the American Cancer
Society by sponsoring a “Pie in the Face” contest. Four
faculty members, including BHS Principal Gary Bitzkie,
volunteered to put their names on a jar and donations
were collected. Mr. Bitzkie’s jar raised the most money
and he received a pie in the face at the pep rally. All
donations in the jar were donated to the American Cancer
Society.
