Middle School Runners Close Out Season

Bandera, Texas ● October 28, 2009

            The Bandera Middle School cross country teams traveled to Carrizo Springs to compete in their district meet. In the 7^th Grade boys division the team was 5 points out of third with a total of 81 points. Beau Gibson led the team by placing 5^th, and Ty Neff finished right behind Beau in 6^th. Wyatt Lucas was 20^th, Dillon Rodriguez 24^th, and Calivin Ponton 26^th to round out the team. In the 8^th Grade boys division Maverick Hicks placed 10^th to lead the team, while CJ Shade placed 18^th, Jonathan Raitz 20^th, Greg Macias 21^st, Dillon McCoy 27^th and Devin Barnes 28^th.

            The 7^th Grade girls team placed 8 points behind 1^st with the total of 43 points. Michelle Kassai led the team placing 6^th, while Kate Martin placed 7^th, Dana Lohrke 8^th, Shae McMullan 10^th, Julie Hatch 12^th, Jeneive Casarez 15^th, and Lindsey Martinez 18^th.  In the 8^th Grade girls division the team placed 3^rd, only 10 points away from 2^nd. Ashley Frerich finished 7^th leading the team while Catrina Sampson placed 8^th, Claire Johanson placed 10^th, Lyric Parker 11^th, and Briley Clouse rounded out the team placing 14^th.
