Cross Country Volunteers Needed

Bandera, Texas ● October 10, 2009

            The Bandera ISD Athletic Department is seeking workers for the Bandera Bulldog Pre-District Invitational Cross Country Meet on Wednesday, October 21^st and the District 30-AAA High School Cross Country Meet on Wednesday, October 28^th. Both cross country meets will be held at the Bandera City Park. 

For the Bandera Bulldog Pre-District Invitational Cross Country Meet on October 21^st, the schedule will be as follows:

• 2:30 PM - Registration

• 4:00 PM - 7^th and 8^th Grade Girls

• 4:30 PM - 7^th and 8^th Grade boys

• 5:00 PM - Varsity and Junior Varsity Girls

• 5:30 PM - Varsity and Junior Varsity Boys

• 6:30 PM - Team Awards Presentation

For the District 30-AAA High School Cross Country Meet on October 28^th, the schedule will be as follows:

• 8:30 AM - Coaches/Worker Meeting

• 9:15 AM - Varsity Girls

• 9:45 AM - Varsity Boys

• 10:15 AM - Junior Varsity Girls/Non-Varsity Senior Girls

• 10:45 AM - Junior Varsity Boys/Non-Varsity Senior Boys

• 12:45 PM - Awards Presentation

            The Bandera ISD Athletic Department will need registration help, assistant scorers, course monitors, chute workers, tab pullers, gate monitors, and parking guides for both Cross Country meets.  Anyone interested in helping as a worker at either or both meets should contact Coach Steve Golemon by e-mail at sgolemon@banderaisd.net or by phone at (830) 688-9627, even if you have previously contacted Coach Brooke Ashcraft at Bandera Middle School. The Bandera ISD Athletic Department needs as much help as possible for both meets, and that help will be deeply appreciated.
