CROSS COUNTRY WORKOUTS

The first organized
Bandera High School cross country workout will be at
6:15AM on Monday, August 3rd. All 9th
- 12th grade student-athletes are encouraged
to participate in cross country for the sake of
conditioning and strength training. This is especially
true for those student athletes who plan to participate
in volleyball, basketball, and soccer. The initial
workout will end between 7:30 AM and 7:45 AM, while some
of the later workouts may last until 8:00 AM or even
until 8:15 AM on some occasions.
Until workout clothes are
issued, all student-athletes are to arrive at Bandera
High School wearing their own workout clothing and
running shoes. The student-athletes must also have
submitted a current physical and all required paperwork
to Doc Bolan before the end of the 2008-2009 school year
or prior to the August 3rd workout. In
addition, each student-athlete must bring a timing
device to every workout throughout the cross country
