A complaint
regarding mistreatment of student in
disciplinary situations, methods of instruction,
campus curriculum issues, or other issues
arising on an individual campus should be
resolved on the individual campus. If the
complaint involves an individual teacher, the
teacher should be involved in the resolution of
the problem. If the outcome is not satisfactory,
a conference with the principal can be requested
within 15 calendar days of the event or events
causing the complaint. The principal should make
the final decision on campus matters.

If the complaint
is not resolved at the campus level, the person
with the complaint may be referred to central
office for a review of the matter. This request
must be made within 10 calendar days in writing
following the conference with the principal. The
written request shall include the harm caused
and the remedy sought. If the complaint is not
resolved at the central office, the person with
the complaint may appeal to the Board of
Trustees.
