College Day is a Huge Success
Bandera, Texas

College Day was once again held at Bandera High School.
Juniors and Seniors from BHS, as well as their parents,
had the opportunity to meet with recruiters from almost
50 colleges, universities, and academic organizations.
In addition, students from Medina ISD were invited to
participate with their Bulldog counterparts.
Some of the colleges
represented at the afternoon event included: Angelo
State University, Texas A&M, UT Austin, UT San Antonio,
Sul Ross University, Schreiner University, Northwest
Vista College, and others. The Army, Navy, Marines, and
Coast Guard also were represented. Technical schools
included: Art Institute of Ausin, Southern Careers
Institute, Texas Culinary Academy, and WYO Tech. “We are
glad that so many colleges and organizations came to
Bandera”, said Charlie Dickey (BHS Counselor), “this was
a great opportunity for our students and their
parents!”.
