7^th Grade Football Teams Blank Hondo

Bandera, Texas ● October 30, 2009

            The Bandera Bulldogs 7^th grade A and B team added another win and shut out to their record last night with a victory over the Hondo Owls. The 7^th grade B team got on the board after a long drive when Halfback John Derry scored from the 12 yard line. The PAT failed and the Dogs led by 6. During the second half the Dogs scored again when Fullback Travis Lema rushed in from the 29. The PAT was added on a pass from Quarterback Neal McLean to Derry.

            The Bulldog 7^th A team added another win to their season record which now stands at 7-0.  The Bulldog offense got started on a pass from Quarterback Ty Neff to Tight End Noah Nelson good for 34 yards which set up the first touchdown by Luke Williams from 19 yards out. The PAT was added by Landon Ventura and the Dogs lead by 8. Now it was time for the defense to take over and Luke Williams again found the end zone when he intercepted an Owl pass and returned it for the score. The PAT failed and the Dogs lead by 14. The next score came on a 37 yard run by Fullback Landon Ventura and the PAT was kicked by Noah Nelson and the Dogs lead was increased to 27. Next week the Dogs will play their last game of the season at home against the Pirates from Lytle.
