7^th Grade Volleyball Edged Out of Kerrville Championship

Bandera, Texas ● October 24, 2009

            The 7^th Grade A team traveled to Kerrville last week for the Kerrville A team tournament. The Bulldogs came in 2^nd place beating out Marble Falls, Medina Valley, Uvalde, and Ingram. The ladies had their first game against Ingram and won in two. This win placed them in the winner’s bracket and set them up to play the fighting Billie’s of Fredericksburg. The Lady Bulldogs beat a tough Fredericksburg team in two games. This win placed them in the Championship match against a very tough Kerrville team. The Lady Bulldogs lost in two very hard fought matches. The player of the tournament was Emily Dyes for her outstanding serving. She served at 80% the entire day and had three aces.
