BMS Runners Do Well at Mason Tournament 

Bandera, Texas ● October 15, 2009

This past weekend the cross country teams competed in Mason. In the 7^th Grade Boys Division, Bo Gibson was 7 seconds from winning the gold and placed 2^nd. In the 8^th Grade Boys Division Jonathan Raitz placed 10^th, while Maverick Hicks barely missed out on a medal placing 13^th. The 7^th Grade Girls did very well placing 2^nd as a team, with Kate Martin placing 7^th, Shae McMullan 8^th, Jeneive Casarez placed 9^th. Julie Hatch and Dana Lohrke finished out the top 5 to help the team. The 8^th Grade Girls placed 3^rd as a team with Lenice McHazlett placing 5^th and Ashley Frerich 9^th. Courtney Netherton was 13th, Lyric Parker 15th, and Briley Clouse 16th to round out the team for points.
