Aztec Calendars On Display

Students in
Sharon Anderwald’s Spanish classes at Bandera Middle
School recently completed an Aztec Calendar Project to
kick off Hispanic Heritage Month. The project was based
on the legend of Quetzalcoatl
and the conquering of the Aztecs by Cortez. The students
learned about the discovery of the Sun Stone and
replicated their own versions which have been put on
display throughout the hallways of the campus.
