MIRELES NAMED TO ALL
STATE JAZZ BAND

The Association of Texas
Small School Bands is pleased to announce Anthony
Mireles as a member of the 2008 ATSSB All State Jazz
Band. Mireles is a member of the Bandera High School
Band under the direction of Tim Howell. The ATSSB all
state jazz band will meet in rehearsal in San Antonio
from February 13-16 and will present a concert on
February 16th at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center
during the Texas Music Educators Association state
convention. Dr. Lou Fisher from Capital University
Conservatory of Music in Columbus, Ohio will be the
director of the Jazz Ensemble.
