FIVE ART STUDENTS ADVANCING TO STATE VASE
Bandera, Texas

Twenty nine
Bandera High School art students recently attended the
Region 20 Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) at Clark
High School in San Antonio. Out of the over 1400 pieces
judged at the event, 48 were from Bandera. The BHS
students won a total of 37 medals with five students
advancing to state competition in April. This is the
largest group from Bandera High School
The following
students will advance to state: Sierra Haile in
photography, Rachael Madison in drawing, Bob Scheel in
Electronic Media, John Chaffin, and Emily Jennings in
sculpture. The following students won double medals:
Megan Brinegar, John Chaffin, Michael Groff, Sierra
Haile, Ali Hutcherson, Emily Jennings, Crystal Lipscomb,
Amberly Mack, Ryan Parker, Kristy Scales, Bob Scheel,
Rebekah Segaloff, and Courtney Skelly. The following
students won medals: Josh Aguero, Dani Aossey, Constance
Caasi, Leanne Cox, Mohammad Jamal, Rachael Madison, Erin
Sanders, Mason Sauer, and Samantha Williams.
