STUDENTS EMBARK ON A “HAIR RAISING” OPPORTUNITY

Bandera high
School students are well on their way to exploring a
great career opportunity as a result of the Career and
Technology Education (CATE) classes this semester.
Junior and senior students are attending Conlee’s
College of Cosmetology in Kerrville where they are
studying for their license in cosmetology. The students
must log 1500 hours before qualifying to test for their
licenses. Participating students study hair care, skin
care, beauty therapy, nail technology, and makeup in the
mornings – and then head back to campus for afternoon
classes at BHS.
