Family Math and Science Night at Alkek

Alkek Elementary will host
its annual Family Math and Science Night on Tuesday,
February 5th. The campus wide event will be held from
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For an encore performance, Dr. Mason
and the Mean Green Demo Team have been invited as
special guests. Parents and students will have the
opportunity to enjoy fossil exhibits and hands-on
activities in the science labs hosted by Mrs. Knibbe.
Science fair projects will be on display in the gym, and
winners will be announced that evening. Teachers will
also be available to show parents and students how to
utilize math and science Internet study links. Pizza
will be served along with homemade root beer.
