Mechanics Take Sweepstakes Award

The FFA Ag Mechanics
Team recently competed at the 1st Annual Hill District
Ag Mechanics Show in Kerrville. The
members competed against
42 entries in various divisions.
Cody Mayfield was 1st
place in his division and Grand Champion Overall of the
entire show with his electric lamb
walker. He also was the
Grand Champion Showman of the show, while Chase Babbitt
with a tower deer blind was
Reserve Champion
Showman. Dusty
Drouin won the Trailer Division with a 5 X 8' trailer
built in the Ag Shop. Each of the members received some
awesome prize packages
for their placing in the show.
In addition to this the
Bandera FFA Ag Mechanics team members were called up to
the sale ring to receive the Sweepstakes Award. The
sweepstakes award goes to the team that had the highest
points overall in the
contest.
