TRUSTEES HONORED FOR THEIR SERVICE
Bandera, Texas
● January 22, 2008
Governor Rick
Perry has proclaimed January as School Board Recognition
Month and Bandera ISD is joining other districts across
the state to gratefully acknowledge local trustees’
unfailing commitment to our communities and schools.
“Serving on a local school board is no easy task,
especially in today’s climate of change and economic
uncertainties" stated Superintendent Dr. Kevin Dyes.
"It’s a huge responsibility, one which has an effect on
virtually every aspect of our schools. In January, we
encourage our community to help honor the contributions
and dedication of our local school board members."
Prior to the
January 15th Board Meeting, trustees were
honored for their service with a reception and dinner at
the Bandera ISD Central Administrative Building. Food
and refreshments were provided by Ms. Ginger Hale and
her FCCLA students at Bandera High School including
Kaitlin Langston, Megan Johnston, and Ashley McConnell.
