Education Foundation's Book Signing Event October 8th

The Bandera ISD Education Foundation invites everyone to meet legendary Texas lawman Joaquin Jackson on October 8th. His new book “One Ranger Returns” will be featured as he conducts two book signings at The Cowboy Store in Bandera from 10:00 AM until noon and again from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

No Texas Ranger memoir has captured the public’s imagination like his first memoir “One Ranger”. Now in “One Ranger Returns”, Jackson reopens his case files to tell more unforgettable stories, while also giving readers a deeply personal view of what being a Texas Ranger has meant to him and his family. Jackson presents a rogue’s gallery of cattle rustlers, drug smugglers, and a tee totaling bootlegger named Tom Bybee, a modest, likeable man who became an ax murderer. And in an eloquent concluding chapter, Jackson pays tribute to the Rangers who have gone before him, as well as those who keep the peace today.

For more information on this event, please contact Debbie Brzezinski at (210) 865-2966. For more information on the book or author, please contact Stephanie Nelson Owens at (512) 232-7634.
