Bandera ISD Weather Update #2

Changes to Cross Country - Cancellation

  • The Maverick Invitational Cross Country scheduled for Saturday (9/13) in Pearsall has been cancelled.

Changes to Varsity Volleyball

  • Friday's (9/12) BHS Varsity Volleyball game vs. Lytle has been moved to Thursday (9/11) at 5:30 PM. Only the varsity will play as per the UIL.

General Information

We know that everyone is following Hurricane Ike and wondering how any inclement conditions may change or alter school events and activities. We encourage all our parents and community members to check our website beginning Thursday morning at 9:00 AM CDT for the latest information. There will be a special RED BUTTON labeled "Bad Weather Info" on our home page www.banderaisd.net. This link will navigate you to a special page the Communications Office has set up. From there you will be able to view any changes to school schedules or events, link to the Alkek Elementary Weather Station, link to TXDOT Road Conditions, and more.

Please be assured that we will continue to monitor Ike's progress very closely since the safety of our students and staff is always our first priority.
