A round-up for Pre-Kindergarten, Head Start, Kindergarten, and First Grade students for the 2009-2010 school year is scheduled for May 5-7, 2009. If students are currently enrolled and attending Bandera ISD Schools, there is no need to come to this pre-registration.

Pre-registration will be held at Alkek Elementary School located at 1798 Highway 173 South in Bandera and at Hill Country Elementary School located at 6346 FM 1283 in Pipe Creek. Both campuses will be open from 8:30 AM until 2:30 PM on May 5^th, May 6^th, and May 7^th. In addition, there will be an evening pre-registration on May 6^th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Pre-Kindergarten and Head Start

If your child will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2009 - they are eligible to pre-register for Pre-Kindergarten or Head Start. All families, regardless of income are encouraged to apply for Pre-Kindergarten. Please bring the following documents for pre-registration:

• Child’s Birth Certificate

• Child’s Social Security Card

• Proof of Residence in Bandera ISD (must show physical address)

• Driver’s License of person pre-registering the child

• Immunization Record

• Proof of Income for the past 12 months

• Proof of Health Insurance

• Proof of any Federal Assistance

Kindergarten

If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2009 - they are eligible to pre-register for Kindergarten. Please bring the following documents for pre-registration:

• Child’s Birth Certificate

• Child’s Social Security Card

• Proof of Residence in Bandera ISD (must show physical address)

• Driver’s License of person pre-registering the child

• Immunization Record

First Grade

If your child will be 6 years old on or before September 1, 2009 - they are eligible to pre-register for First Grade. Please bring the following documents for pre-registration:

• Child’s Birth Certificate

• Child’s Social Security Card

• Proof of Residence in Bandera ISD (must show physical address)

• Driver’s License of person pre-registering the child

• Immunization Record
