This week is Texas Public
Schools Week at Bandera ISD. This year's theme is “Growing Graduates: Texas Public
Schools Plant Seeds for Success”. Bandera ISD schools
plant seeds of success from Pre-Kindergarten to High
School each and every day. Our schools are growing and
thriving and producing the greatest resources in the
state of Texas - successful students!
Texas Public Schools Week
was originally created in 1950 by the Masonic Lodges of
Texas to recognize contributions made by the state’s
free system of education. This year, Bandera ISD will
celebrate the last full week in March in an effort to
keep our students growing:

Monday, March 23rd
– Kick off Texas Public Schools Week Day

– 3rd Annual Realtor and Developer
Conference
-
Wednesday, March 25th
– “College Awareness Day” at all BISD Campuses
AND a Texas Public School Week Luncheon at Hill
Country Elementary School
-
Thursday, March 26th

Elementary School
-

Support Organizations AND The
Masonic Lodge #1123
will announce the winners of this years’ essay
contest.

Help us honor the tender
loving hearts of our teachers, the fertile foundation
laid by our school district, the nourishment provided by
child food services staff, the warm hearts of caring
parents, and the added nutrients supportive school
volunteers and businesses add to our soil. There are
many who tend to our garden at Bandera ISD and many who
need to be thanked and recognized. For more information
