Bandera ISD Earns State’s Highest Financial Rating
Bandera ISD officials announced that the district received
a rating of “Superior Achievement” under Texas’ Schools
FIRST financial accountability ratings system. The
Superior Achievement rating is the state’s highest,
demonstrating the quality of Bandera ISD’s financial
management and reporting system. This is the seventh
consecutive year that the district has received a
“Superior” rating.

Hill Country Elementary
Annual Carnival - October 24
The Hill Country Elementary
PTO will be hosting their annual carnival tomorrow,
October 24 from 11:00 AM
- 3:00 PM. "It's a County Fair!" is the theme for
this year's carnival and it will be full of family fun.
There will be lots of food and games and even a pie
baking contest. What could be more fun on a cool fall
day!
Alkek Elementary Family
Family Reading Night - October 27
Alkek Elementary will be
hosting their Annual Family Reading Night on Tuesday
October 27 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. It will be a come and
go evening with lots of fun events and a very special
visit from the Book Fairy. Hot Dogs will be served by
the campus administration.
Bandera High School College Fair
- October 28
Bandera High School will be hosting a
College Fair on Wednesday, October 28th from
1:00 to 3:00 PM. Over fifty colleges will be represented
at the event which is open to all Junior and
Senior students. Parents are encouraged to attend as
well since this will be a very convenient opportunity to
visit with numerous college admission representatives. This
year’s College Fair will be held in the Bandera High
School cafeteria. For additional information contact
