The
No Child Left Behind division of the Texas Education
Agency requires the Local Education Agency to report
their progress in meeting the Highly Qualified teacher
requirements (Bachelors Degree and State Certification).
The NCLB Legislation gave all school districts until the
end of the 2005-2006 school year to meet the new
requirements.
